Day 1
OAXACA AIRPORT / OAXACA

Upon arrival at the airport, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. (Check-in is available from 3:00 PM.)
Settle in and start discovering this incredible city at your own pace. Enjoy a free afternoon wandering its colonial streets, admiring the architecture, and tasting Oaxaca’s rich and diverse cuisine.

Settle in for the night.

Day 2
OAXACA / CITY TOUR / OAXACA

After meeting at the designated meeting point (transfer not included), we’ll begin a walking tour through Oaxaca’s charming historic center.

Explore the Zócalo, surrounded by iconic colonial buildings, and stroll through colorful streets filled with the aromas of chocolate and freshly brewed coffee. At the local market, you’ll have time to shop for traditional Oaxacan treats.

After the tour, enjoy some free time to continue exploring or head back to the hotel.

Settle in for the night.

Day 3
OAXACA / MONTE ALBÁN / ARRAZOLA / CUILAPAM / COYOTEPEC / OAXACA

Today, we’ll visit Monte Albán, one of the most important archaeological sites in Mexico. Then we’ll head to San Antonio Arrazola, famous for its vibrant alebrijes whimsical, hand-carved folk art figures unique to Oaxaca.

Next, we’ll explore the impressive ex-convent of Santiago Apóstol in Cuilápam de Guerrero, followed by a visit to San Bartolo Coyotepec to learn about the traditional process of making black clay pottery.

Settle in for the night.

Day 4

OAXACA / TULE / MITLA / HIERVE EL AGUA / TEOTITLÁN DEL VALLE / OAXACA

We’ll start the day with a visit to the legendary Tule Tree, known for having the widest trunk in the world.

Then we’ll head to Hierve el Agua, where you’ll marvel at petrified waterfalls in a surreal natural setting. Our next stop is the archaeological site of Mitla, also known as “The City of the Dead,” known for its intricate stone mosaics.

We’ll finish the day in Teotitlán del Valle, a village renowned for its wool rugs woven on traditional looms.

Settle in for the night.

Day 5
OAXACA / JALIEZA / OCOTLÁN / OAXACA

Today is all about Oaxaca’s artisan heritage.

We’ll visit Jalieza, a town known for its backstrap loom weaving, and then explore Ocotlán, a picturesque town full of charm and culture.

Settle in for the night and enjoy your final evening in Oaxaca.

Day 6
OAXACA / OAXACA AIRPORT

Transfer to the Oaxaca airport according to your flight schedule.
